About Us

The vision of LoveHopes is for mothers and their children in and out of the womb to receive the needed support, encouragement, resources and tools needed to flourish. We believe in the value and dignity of all human life.

 

There are 8.66 million single mother households in the US, with nearly a third living in poverty. 

These statistics paint a picture of abandonment, where many women are left to navigate the challenging path of raising young children on their own. Many of the mothers we serve are isolated, alone and friendless. The high cost of living, coupled with the scarcity of affordable housing and childcare compounds these difficulties, underscoring the need for support. In many ways, these women are like the ‘widows’ from James 1:27 — the marginalized, the impoverished, the vulnerable.

 

LoveHopes stands as a beacon of hope, reaching out to these ‘widows’ in their hour of need; giving them help, walking with them in life, providing genuine friendship and pointing them towards the hope found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Through our extensive community outreach efforts and partnerships with other local groups & ministries, we aim to provide a lifeline for mothers and women facing unexpected pregnancies. Our trained and compassionate Life Support Team offers each mother one on one support, provisions for many emergency needs, housing support and referrals, and a customized stabilization plan- which includes physical, emotional and spiritual support.

 

Did you know that 87% of women seeking abortion are unmarried - 60% of those seeking abortions are single mothers already and 73% of women choose abortion due to financial difficulties? Often unmarried women choose life the first and even second time, but realize the challenges of single motherhood and overwhelmingly choose abortion for their future pregnancies. We strive to significantly reduce the number of abortions in our community and ensure it is not viewed as the only option for these already struggling mothers.
